The 6-passenger Nymphea is a classic Dutch design with shallow draft and is ideal for navigating the incredibly beautiful yet somewhat sandy reaches of the river Cher in the Loire valley.
To date, the Nymphea is the only cruising barge navigating this fabled Chateaux Country.

Refitted throughout, Nymphea 's traditional ship's interior features a warm classic decor of rich varnished hardwoods, stained glass and a welcoming country house atmosphere.
Nymphea has three comfortable cabins providing two twin bedded state- rooms and one twin or double stateroom with en-suite facilities.

Nymphea includes a 2 story salon with the lower level providing built in seating and dining for six, and the upper level including an open bar, picture windows, and built in seating.
On Deck:
Nymphea has a sundeck allowing guests to enjoy the canal while soaking up the sun in comfortable chairs or under the umbrella for those who prefer the shade.
Off Boat:
6 touring bicycles and an air-conditioned minibus with tour guide bring you in touch with the beautiful sights of the Loire Valley.
Nymphea is owned and operated by the U.K based "European Waterways" cruise company, known to provide crew that have always taken pride in their work, attention to detail, creativity and service, key words which are the cornerstones of the company's group of vessels. Crew members are selected from within the hotel barge industry and from outside. The majority are either English or French.

Your Cruise Includes:
7 days and 6 nights on the barge in a cabin with private bath, transfers from Tours (St Pierre des Corps TGV station) to the barge and return, all meals beginning with dinner on Sunday through breakfast on Saturday, all wines with lunches and dinners, open bar, all escorted side-excursions and use of bicycles.
