There are several steps and narrow passageways which may be difficult to navigate for those with extremely limited mobility. DECK PLAN: Prospérité serves as your floating home during your cruise. Expressly designed and constructed to meet the expectations of upscale travelers, it features a level of accommodation unmatched on France's inland waters.

CABINS: There are four (4) suites on board Prospérité that occupy a majority of the Lower Deck. These suites are some of the largest rooms guests will find on board a hotel barge in France, and have the highest level of amenities. Each luxurious suite is elegantly decorated with beautiful contemporary furniture and has comfortable beds dressed in fine linens. There is a cozy reading nook with plush armchairs, and a writing desk for composing letters or postcards about trip experiences. A console table topped with a flourishing bouquet of brilliant flowers welcomes each guest upon entering. CABIN SIZE: The suites on board Prospérité provide approximately 270 square-feet of space, privacy, and comfort. Whether enjoying a book in the reading corner, or taking a nice warm bath, guests will find plenty of room to freely move about their quarters. BEDDING CONFIGURATION & SIZE: Electronically adjustable oversized twin or king beds outfit each suite. When the suites are in twin bed configuration, the beds will be parallel with a space in between each. BATHROOMS: The luxury of each suite is further heightened by a private en suite bathroom. The en suite bathroom has a bathtub, separate shower, toilet, and wash basin. The presence of heated towel racks are a nice touch for particularly cold weather. SALON/DINING ROOM: The Salon decor pairs Italian leather couches with French accent pieces and other beautiful touches. Along with the separate Dining Room, the Salon is very bright and spacious with beautiful panoramic windows, which provide a good view of the outside countryside while cruising. The Dining Room has a table seating eight (8), decorated in elegant, contemporary style, and is the perfect place to enjoy the chef-prepared gourmet dinners. OBSERVATION KITCHEN: The Dining Room also boasts a fully equipped demonstration kitchen where the chef gives planned and impromptu demonstrations in French and Continental cuisine during the cruise. ON DECK: A spacious Sun Deck with hot tub is a glorious way to experience the passing scenery on the beautiful Burgundy waterways. With deck chairs and tables, sun-umbrellas providing shade, and open bar available around the clock, guests can spend much time here relaxing or partying together. Guests are also welcome to join the Captain to observe cruising techniques and procedures while going through the locks. OFF BOAT: Passengers are welcome to walk or cycle using the onboard bicycles as often as they like.  Most People choose to disembark the barge at a lock to visit local villages, then return to the canal and meet the barge further along (the barge travels slowly; therefore, this is not a problem). Bikes are always onboard and ready to go for casual rides along the towpath or into the countryside. A 9-seater air-conditioned minivan is also avalable for transfers and shore excursions.

JOINING AND LEAVING THE CRUISE

Cruise Passenger Meeting Point Hotel of your choice - 2pm Paris To begin the cruise, passengers will be picked up from the hotel of their choice in Paris at 2pm. If you choose to stay in Paris or Burgundy prior to your cruise, please contact our Reservation Team for more information. At the end of your cruise, you will be transferred back to Paris after breakfast. Alternative pre- and post-cruise transfer points can also be arranged.
