SALON:

The stately salon has a Grand Piano and large windows that panoramically frame the passing countryside. This elegant common area also features:

  • Sofas and chairs
  • Library
  • Writing desk
  • TV with DVD player
  • Guest computer with internet access
  • Stereo with ipod docking station

DINING ROOM:

The Main Deck is so large that Fleur de Lys can afford to have a Dining Room separate from its Salon. The Dining Room accommodates the most elegant candlelit dinners in signature style with immaculately white table linens, fine china, and gorgeous silver.

ON DECK:

The Sun Deck, while smaller in size than other barges, can comfortably host all passengers at once. The presence of a large heated pool also makes the Sun Deck an attractive feature of Fleur de Lys. The canopied Sun Deck also features a beautiful teak deck table with six (6) chairs for memorable "al fresco" meals.

The Sun Deck is perfect for sun bathing, talking with friends, enjoying a book, or gazing at the beautiful scenery as it comes dripping from the plane trees that line the canal.

OFF BOAT:

Passengers are welcome to walk or cycle using the onboard bicycles as often as they like.  Most People choose to disembark the barge at a lock to visit local villages, then return to the canal and meet the barge further along (the barge travels slowly; therefore, this is not a problem). Guests are welcome to walk or bicycle the accompanying towpath, or perhaps enjoy a leisurely game of boules along the grassy banks.

An air-conditioned Mercedes minibus is also available for excursions by vehicle.
