Elisabeth (MS)

"Peniche-hotel" MS Elisabeth is one of the most beautiful river barge in France, and one of the few hotel barges boasting wide windows to bring in the views.

In 2004, the owners, Martine and Bernard Buisseret remodeled the barge to create a unique, luxury cruise vessel accomodating 8 passengers, navigating through the heart of France along the fabulous French canals and waterways.

Elisabeth features two decks and 4 spacious cabins - each with its separate bathroom.

She comes with 8 bikes, perfect for enjoying the villages alongside the canals or between two locks. WiFi, laptops, and nintendo games (with Wii Fit+!) are available throughout the cruise.

Cruises are offered in 4 regions: impressionists painters, the Loire river, Bourgogne, and Paris (where the boat is moored next to the Bastille and Le marais) where a menu of options are offered (museum, castle visits, churches, wine cellars, promenades and byciling). Thematic cruises, such as golf, culinary, family, and wine tasting, are offered as well.

Moreover, Martine is a superb chef. You will be served daily breakfast, lunch and dinner with first quality and healthy products (including organic products when available). You will have the opportunity to shop with her for fresh products at the local markets. Should you wish, Martine stands ready to share her culinary secrets. One evening you will enjoy a dinner in a charming gastronomic restaurant. Meals can also be ordered to accommodate dietary requirements e.g.: gluten/lactose/sugar free; low sodium).
