If you want to experience French gastronomy and art de vivre, come and join us aboard L'Etoile. We take great pride in preserving and respecting the graceful, traditional lines of L'Etoile. Owner-operated by Cobie Lagerburg, this Dutch passenger barge has been converted to today's standards of comfort. Her cozy atmosphere and crew will make you feel at home.

The fully air-conditioned L'Etoile can accommodate a maximum of eight guests in four cabins. She has bedrooms with king-size beds, one bedroom with a double bed, and one twin cabin, each with their own full bathroom.

All cabins are uniquely decorated, light and airy, each with opening skylight, portholes, and ample storage.

For your enjoyment, we have bicycles, fishing rods, satellite flat screen TV, a region-free dvd player, an Ipod docking station and a home entertainment system. E-mail facilities are available. Guided tours are given in an air-conditioned Mercedes van.

The large lounge/dining area has plenty of natural light and is decorated in a contemporary French style. There is marble fireplace which gives ambiance to the cooler spring and autumn cruises. On deck there is comfortable seating as well as a plunge pool for cooling off.

Our five course evening meals, accompanied by fine wines, are designed to introduce you to just some of the regional dishes of the areas we cruise.
